Learn all about its life history and realise its importance and the fact that it represents a unique biological heritage that we ought to protect.

Manage the water resources in a sustainable way, ensuring that there is enough water left in the streams, even in the driest of years.

Protect the forests from fire, since trees retain the rainwater, thus helping maintain underground water sources.

Take care not to pollute or destroy in other ways the streams where this rare fish survives.

Create fish refuges along the streams, to enhance the survival of as many fish as possible, during the summer months.

And, most of all save as much water as possible in our daily domestic use.
